Joe for Simon Bright Salon

New Zealand born Joe started his hairdressing career in Sydney after being inspired by both his Grandparents who ran their own salon in the United Kingdom.


Joe served his apprenticeship at the world-renowned hairdressing giant Tony&Guy, where it just so happens he was nominated for Apprentice of the Year for three consecutive years. 

Looking to futher his skill level and creativity Joe took off for London. After a couple of years he returned to Sydney to work for Tony&Guy, rising through the ranks and after a few years he was appointed Art Director.


For the last number of years Joe has been working freelance as an Editorial Stylist, where he is gaining a reputation within the fashion and media establishment.


Since the salon opened in March 2011, it has beome Joe’s Sydney base.
